ReMap 4 – Athen Contemporary Art Biennal
An international contemporary art programme
Remap KM’s goal is to create an alternative platform for the production and experience of contemporary art within the urban context, to present a real life interactive environment within a cultural framework and to enhance Athens’s positioning in the international contemporary art scene.
ReMap 4 will take place in September 2013 presenting once more, a unique kaleidoscope of the current artistic production as it happens on a global and a local level, within the specific, fluid, urban, economical and social context of the Kerameikos- Metaxourgeio Area in the Athens historical city center. Since 2007 that ReMap took place for the first time, it has grown to serve as a dynamic platform for both emerging & established, artists, curators, institutions and galleries from across the world. ReMap is a biannual contemporary art platform taking place parallel to the Athens Biennale and organized by the not for profit organization ReMapKM.
